Why We Exist
Our values shape how we build our product, support our customers, and partner for the long term.

Our Vision
We believe every buyer and seller of technology should have equal access to modern financial tools, whether they are in New York or Nairobi. The way technology is bought, sold, and funded has been broken for too long. We are here to change that.

Our Mission
We empower B2B technology scale-ups to grow without cash flow constraints by streamlining the fragmented closing motion to accelerate revenue, so they can move from surviving to thriving.
Own It
We take full ownership of our work and outcomes. When we see a problem, we own it. No excuses, no finger-pointing. Owning it includes knowing when to ask for support and bringing others in to succeed together.
Be Transparent & Trustworthy
We build trust through honesty and openness with each other, customers, and partners. We share information freely, communicate directly, and do what we say we will do.
Always Be Curious
We dig deep, ask why, and never stop learning. We challenge assumptions, seek to understand how things really work, and constantly look for better ways. Curiosity drives us to learn fast and apply what we discover.
Be Customer Centric
We exist to make both our sellers and their buyers successful. Every decision starts with "how does this help our customers win?" We listen deeply to understand customer pain points and measure our success by the outcomes we create for them.
Treat People with Respect
We treat each other as equals, value diverse perspectives, and create space for everyone to contribute. We assume good intent, lift each other up, and are fully present. We disagree constructively and never make it personal.
Move Smart, Ship Fast
We think clearly, then act quickly, always focused on solving real customer problems. We build systems, not patches. Before we move, we ask "does this solve a real problem?" and "what is the downstream impact?" We ship with intention, not knee-jerk reactions.
Ratio's founders, Ashish Srimal and Mason Blake, were brought together by a common frustration: the way technology is bought, sold, and funded is broken. They had collaborated for over 10 years, since Mason co-founded UpCounsel (which exited to LinkedIn) and Ashish was an early angel investor. Together, they set out to build something better.
Most B2B scale-ups treat close as a signature, then wait on cash through fragmented handoffs. Sellers face an impossible choice: discount to get annual prepay, or accept monthly terms and deal with slow cash, messy collections, and revenue leakage. Ratio was built to eliminate that tradeoff.
Ratio became the first platform to unify proposals, BNPL (buy now, pay later) for B2B, and collections into one seamless closing motion. Buyers get the flexible terms that make it easy to say yes. Sellers get paid upfront. The entire flow stays connected from proposal to cash.
Ratio achieved 800%+ year-over-year ARR growth in 2024, followed by 349% growth in 2025. The company reached GAAP profitability in August 2025, proving the model works at scale while remaining capital-efficient.
In 2026, Ratio closed a $15.8 million venture financing round and secured $100 million in lending capacity. The company is expanding with AI-powered tools, including the AI Proposal Agent, to help sellers structure the right offer and remove buyer hesitation on payment terms.
